Been a While
Yes... it has been a while since I've posted anything on this blog. Life has been up and down and a bit of sideways; LOL! But the one constant thing it has been is, of course, boring. Guess I'll start with another quick update.
Last time I posted, I don't think it was even 2012 yet. I guess the "major" news to update is the actual reason for the delay in posting (not like anyone reads this but... just in case someone decides to waste a few minutes of their life...): I've started focusing more on my writing. My sis gave me the encouragement to start posting my main story on this website, fanfiction.net. For those of you interested, I'll post a link to my profile on that site. Because of the language, I had decided to give it a rating of M. Problem with that site is that when you browse for stories, the default is K-T. Most people wouldn't bother to search manually for M-rated stories, especially after the "Purge" as we called it: the site started cracking down on graphic and pornographic stories.
Those who got offended by this moved on to adultfanfiction.com, where pretty much EVERYTHING is allowed as long as you follow the guidelines. Long story short, I also posted a few of my stories on there as well as became a moderator. At the moment, I don't do much moderating as I used to due to a thing called life. The head honchos seem to understand it; I'm still listed as a moderator!
About a week ago, I found this other site called wattpad.com. This site is a hell of a lot tamer but it also allows you to do WAY more stuff. Providing a cast for your story, adding media, etc. This was when I made the decision to do a serious overhaul of my main story, Speed of Lyght. So, if you really want to, you may want to go to the wattpad link instead of the other two to read the story... unless you want to read the first book in its entirety. Just be warned, the rewrite will be much more detailed as well as a few details taken out/put in.
Other than that, everything has been the same ol', same ol'. Aysha-Marie is a very talkative 21 month old toddler. I'm happy that the Ravens won the Super Bowl. I'm upset that the Grizzlies are giving up everyone that pretty much know how to play basketball in order to lower the salary cap. Also happy that Alabama won the BCS championship. My Tigers are on a 12 game winning streak. Think that's about it for sports.
I was thinking about just posting my story on here but I figured it would be easier to just post the link to wattpad. Like I said, I'll post the other two links but you were warned: your best bet would be to just read the updated version on wattpad.
