What My (Youtube) Channel is About (Updated)

Image
Just as the title says! I have a Youtube channel, two in fact. But in 2021, I'm switching what my main channel will be about, and that will be shoes. The reselling, unboxing, and showing off of shoes. Also an educational video here and there. Make sure you check it out, Subscribe, Like, and Comment! Will try to post videos once a week starting off, hoping to increase to three times a week if necessary!

An Overdue Update

Hi, guys! It's been a while since I've updated this blog, I know and I apologize. I've gone through a lot of things this year that has hampered me from doing much of anything aside living day-to-day. I'll give you a bit of a run down, if I can. February, my writing friends convinced me to get a story published. I mainly write fanfiction but made the decision to turn a celebrity fanfic into an original. Saw a bit more of an audience when I was able to rewrite, edit and post a chapter every day to every other day and my decision was made. You can actually find all of my progress on that  here . April found me pregnant for the first time in my life and everyone was super excited with the news. But in May, I miscarried. I feel bad because I don't want to try again but the husband wants to. Right now, it's a "if it happens, it happens" type of situation but the way my body is, I am really doubtful. My 40th birthday came and went without much flair due to wh...

New Year, New Me... Hopefully

Don't worry; this isn't a post where I'll lie and say that I'll start exercising to lose weight or save money or any of those tired resolutions we all come up with. I want to say that this is a revelation of sorts? I've come to the conclusion that I shouldn't hide what I really feel around anyone, whether it's online or in person. And that I should stop giving a damn if it offends people or make them look at me all weird. Just something personal that I've wanted to work on. I won't lie; I do want to start losing weight, getting back into the gym. If anything, for my health. September 2015, I found out that I was diabetic. I'm not on insulin and my fasting blood sugar is actually within range. My A1c fluctuates but not outrageously. I want to steer clear of taking insulin and in order for me to do that, I have to get off my ass and get myself active and better. Changing the way I eat is going to be a bitch. And it's something I never understoo...

It's Been A While...

Gotta love when this thing called life gets in the way of things! I know that I've been absent so I apologize. First things first: the temperature blanket has been frogged. Maybe with another year approaching, I'll become serious about it once more. It was doomed from the start: I wasn't aware of a project like that until a month after it should've started. Then, I'm always finding better patterns to work with: I'm very indecisive when it comes to basically everything in my life. I still have a lot of unfinished projects but the main priority is to finish my grandmother's blanket before her birthday. Hopefully, I'll post pictures of the progress soon. The pattern is called  Sophie's Universe  and it's a CAL (or a Crochet Along). I'm assuming that it was meant to last for a year, if not at least half a year. But it only took me a week to reach part 3; if I keep at it, I will reach my goal in time.  That's basically it. Not much has happene...

To Cheat or Not to Cheat

Earlier today, a family friend of mine put up a picture post on Facebook that read on the lines of this: If a man has to beg you for sex, don't feel bad when he cheats on you. I immediately put my two cents on this and now I've found myself in a war of words with some boy about what's right and what's wrong. Let me put it out there: I have no problem if you want to voice your opinion. But sometimes people are idiots. That's my opinion. I pointed out that there are numerous reasons why a woman would deny a man sex if they're in a relationship. One of the main reasons is that she's tired of being disappointed in bed. Because shit happens. The two of you may have been like wild rabbits in the beginning but there are issues that arise which would make the other partner less than appealing in the bedroom. What worked for me when I was twenty doesn't work now that I'm thirty-eight! But the guy didn't understand this. His theory was that if there is dis...

Recap of Who I Am

The last time I updated this thing was last year back in March. But if you're reading this then... you know that! Hello to all and welcome back! A lot has happened in a year. I feel that I should try to backtrack... Blogger has changed; granting full access will lead those nosy enough to my Google+ profile instead of a regular Blogger one. Something that I don't bother with so whatever is connected to my Google+ that allows auto posting is what you'll see! I believe that's basically Youtube, any blog on here and anything that has the option to +1! So, hi! The name's J Linz! I'm Level 38 which means, depending on the type of game, I've just starting to get the hang of playing or I'm freaking awesome and ready to prestige; think I'll go with the latter! :D I've been married to my #1 guy for the past twelve years come November and while I call him a tyrant every now and then, I wouldn't want it any other way! We don't have any children and I...

Been a While

Yes... it has been a while since I've posted anything on this blog. Life has been up and down and a bit of sideways; LOL! But the one constant thing it has been is, of course, boring. Guess I'll start with another quick update. Last time I posted, I don't think it was even 2012 yet. I guess the "major" news to update is the actual reason for the delay in posting (not like anyone reads this but... just in case someone decides to waste a few minutes of their life...): I've started focusing more on my writing. My sis gave me the encouragement to start posting my main story on this website, fanfiction.net. For those of you interested, I'll post a link to my profile on that site. Because of the language, I had decided to give it a rating of M. Problem with that site is that when you browse for stories, the default is K-T. Most people wouldn't bother to search manually for M-rated stories, especially after the "Purge" as we called it: the site star...

Has It Been a Year??

That's just crazy that it's been almost a year since my last post and I still have no followers :( Oh well; I knew that I would be posting blogs just for my health! So, let's catch up! The last time I posted, I was enjoying Philly. We left on Sunday but before, I got to enjoy a few of the remaining sites downtown. I also found myself inside the Field House, watching the various NFL games as well as the beginning of the Titans/Cowboys game. That was October. November, my husband and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary. He took me to Tides, a fancy restaurant where we enjoyed good food, a semi-private setting and even an anniversary balloon they had set up at the table! My sister-in-law, Ashley did my make-up and my husband gave me this look all night that I really, REALLY enjoyed seeing! For Thanksgiving, instead of doing the traditional, we went 45 minutes out to a buffet. Best... idea... EVER! There was no need to worry about getting food done, cleaning up the dishes and e...

Just an Adventure

Image
good afternoon! First off, let me just say that the bed at the hotel is OUTSTANDING! I usually toss and turn throughout the night but I felt it; I didn't move an inch last night! I didn't get a full 8 hours but it was close enough and I felt well rested! The bed was so soft and comfortable that I debated if I was gonna get anything done today as planned! So, Albert and Kenny left around 9 this morning to play Yu-Gi-Oh; as of the post of this post, Albert is 0-2 and Kenny is 1-1. I stayed in the bed and watched a little bit of some College Game Day... okay I watched it all! I wanted to see if Corso would put on the elephant head and he did! I got up and showered and was dressed and ready around 12:30. Husband called around 12:38 and told me about their first round. I got a map from concierge (who has been very, very helpful) and I was at first going to do a little shopping. I don't know what happened but I got off track and just enjoyed the sites! My tour of d...

Philly Life

It's really nice being here. I feel like I'm in a movie! Earlier today, I watched the world from the 7th floor and it was everything I had imagined from a 90s movie based in the big city! There were people trying to hail cabs, one-way traffic, police cars and people break-dancing in the park! I wanted to tape them but it was too dark! Just now, I decided to look outside because I'm actually bored out of my mind frame, and saw a lesbian couple make out in the same park! It was really cute, actually! They were a very, VERY young couple; look like they were no older than high school seniors! I guess I've lived in a small town for way too long; I actually got excited to see people walking around and hanging out at this time of night! Okay, okay; it's a Friday but even on a Friday in Lex Park, unless it's payday weekend, there's no one out in the streets! Then again, there isn't a huge downtown area to hang around as there is! I'm excited f...

Life in Philly... and Updates

Okay; I see that the last time I posted anything was in July! So, this is a rundown of what has happened since then! July I want to say that everything was going fine after our trip to Memphis. Ashley and Ramil were reportedly doing fine... until I get a phone call from both of them asking us to come get them! Long story short, they got into it with Ash's parents... again, and volunteered to leave. August Because we saw that there was a possibility that they would be staying with us, again, Albert and I decided to look into getting our own home. We were actually trying to find out the steps we had to take in order to make it possible. Never imagined that it was as easy as getting a mortgage loan officer to do a credit check! It actually happened at the end of July but we gave the Realtors a money order for their services; found out that Albert is only 4 points away from qualifying for our first house! We were told what was needed to attempt to get those points and started on that q...

Love Unspoken

have you ever wanted someone that you knew you couldn't have? I have a crush on a guy that doesn't know that I exist. I know that I'm married and I am happily married! But it just bugs me that I just wasted 30 mins of my time tweeting to someone and he won't even see it because he isn't following my tweets! *SIGH* How can I get him to follow me when I'm not a celebrity??

Updating

I know that it has been a while since I have posted anything but I have been busy with a lot of things. This summer is busy, already for me! I am now in Memphis, visiting my family and having an okay time; the reason it's only okay for me is because my husband couldn't make the trip. We left on the 11th and will be here until the 20th. It's me, my brother, Ramil, his wife, Ashley, my mom and my stepdad. Last night, my grandmother threw a huge cookout for me and my brother. What surprised me was that there was a cake and it was huge! All of our family came by and we had a great time. I got to see nephews that the last time I had seen them, they were babies! Now, they're bigger than me! I am still working on Project #2: Great Minds Think Alike. I have been really busy with a lot of stuff, especially getting ready for this trip. So, it's a slower process than the first project! But, it will get done! So, hopefully, after finals for this week, I will get ...

Happy Belated Mother's Day!

I know I'm a bit late; lol. But, I had started to blog on Mother's Day but had to stop for a reason that I can't remember about, now! I do remember what I was attempting to write: how Mother's Day seems like a day for older mothers; mothers whose children are grown with children of their own. Think about it: as much as real mothers do, and they only get one day of appreciation? There should be a mother's month or something like that! Seriously; what did you do for your mother this past Sunday? You probably cooked her breakfast, gave her flowers, balloons and a card; maybe a gift, took her out to eat for dinner and that was it. Unfortunately, that was all that we did: Mother's Day this year snuck up on us too quickly! It was weird; one day, I looked up and was like, "Holy crap; Mother's Day is this Sunday?!" So, my stepfather cooked breakfast, my mom stayed in her room, doing crossword puzzles and watched TV and I cooked her favorite dinner. A few...

Life in Jersey

Day 2 in Edison, NJ. My husband is participating in the Yu-Gi-Oh Shonen Jump Championship today. As of right now, he's 1-1, which isn't bad but isn't good, especially seeing that there are over 2,000 participants! Top 80-something get a national's invite but he already has his. He just wanted to participate in this Jump to try to get his name out there. First, I have to start over; I tried to blog last night but the website was being screwy and I couldn't even get to the home page! Well, we arrived at our hotel room after pre-registration around 4. I had made the reservations for 4 people initially and then had to change it twice because the two guys couldn't go. Well, they "tricked" me into upgrading to the Club Level room which... is amazing! Okay; the room, itself, is the same size of a regular room but we're on the top floor (12) and can see over the top of everything in the area. The TV is a LG flat screen and the decor is outstanding. I wish ...

A Trip

Forgot to mention that we're going to New Jersey for the weekend this weekend! It's for the Yu-Gi-Oh Shonen Jump Championships and it might be the very last one Konami will host. I'm kind of excited because this will be my first SJC but I'm not participating. I've become more of the collector/inventory specialist for the game, now. Now that my husband has been trading more and making more money so that he can buy more Yu-Gi-Oh, we're a few steps away from turning this into a full-blown business. I can see that the business of Yu-Gi-Oh is dwindling fast here in Southern Maryland but we want to try to save it. I won't talk strategies so I'll just leave it at this: some of these people simply don't know how to make the game work down here. I know that there are a lot of people in our area who plays but they have to travel all the way towards Rockville and B-More to play; it's just not right. Anyway; so, yeah, we're leaving in the morning which m...
